Declination of Sufism among Muslims Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words
Declination of Sufism among Muslims - Essay Example These forces are ascribed to them under the rules of Quran and Sunnah. The most significant viewpoint is that the pupils of Sufis take up the way of harmony or even furnished jehad for Shariatisation of the entire world as their main goal. Searchers of Tawhid ought to endeavor to commit themselves to the Prophet Mohammad, to such an extent that their whole selves, including their hearts and their spirits, were liberated from contemplations other than of God (Saiyied Athar Abbas Rizvi 178). Despite the fact that Sufism is famous, history takes the stand a few endeavors have been made to stifle Sufism. There have been endeavors to utilize even physical power and brutality to stifle Sufism. This paper talks about a portion of the explanations behind declination of Sufism among Muslims. The idea of Sufism was essentially expected to concentrate the spiritualist force on the profound element of Islam with the reason to shield the adherents from the shallow and ridiculous authoritative opinion of the confidence. At the end of the day it very well may be said that otherworldliness is a reasonable profound order especially dependent on the knowledge of enlightened searchers of the real world or truth. In addition, it very well may be said that it is a strategic higher strict request of any confidence, which abhors struggle and brutality in any structure. A definitive objective is delight of self-acknowledgment which is commonly experienced after a long otherworldly practice (Upadhyay n. pag). Ev Significantly after the notoriety of Sufism, there are a few cases where the Sufi practices are stifled utilizing viciousness. There are a few explanations behind this and regardless of differed discussions and pioneer and reformist endeavors to isolate or separate Sufism from Islam. Take for instance in standard Islam, as indicated by Najaf, the object of creation is the love of God, This is a relationship of subjection or as it were - a single direction relationship wherein God is the ace and the enthusiast is the slave. Then again Sufis contend contradicting the perspective on customary Islam that God ought to be venerated not on account of the dread that you will be rebuffed on the off chance that you didn't love, rather God ought to be loved in view of the adoration that an individual feels for God. The principle belief system of Sufi is love. Subsequently, Sufis accept that there exists balance among all individuals and everybody independent of sexual orientation or put in the social request is fit for communicating their adoration for God, and that outperforms strict affiliations (Dalrymple n. pag). One of the fundamental subject in the philosophy and exercises of contemporary Sunni Islamist developments is a profound attached restriction to Sufism. The explanation behind concealment of Sufism is the pioneer way to deal with information or scorn of what can't be experimentally disclosed prompted the excusal Sufism as well. The shared competition between these gatherings has gotten unmistakable in the cutting edge setting of increased political Islamism. The doctrinal underlying foundations of resistance to Sufism are found in the significant compositions of the thirteenth century Hanbali 'alim Taqi al-Din Ahmad ibn Taymiyya (Majmu'a Fatawa Shaykh al-IsIam Ahmad ibn Taymiyya). Additionally, Ibn Taymiyya in his journey to filter the Muslim confidence emphatically restricted Sufi polytheism and such practices as the love of holy people and journeys to their holy places (Makdisi 247-251). In the possession of Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab, Ibn Taymiyya's limitations on Sufism was changed into a well known dissatisfaction and forbiddance of the Sufi requests (Shaykh Muhammad Ibn 'Abd

Hematologic Discussion Essay
Question 1 Paleness is a state of the blood where the quantity of sound red platelets is extremely low to meet the oxygen necessities of body tissues. It is for the most part ordered based on erythrocyte morphology, physiology and plausible etiology. The grouping dependent on morphology of red platelets considers the size of erythrocytes. Under this class microcytic iron deficiency happens if the red platelets are littler than ordinary. Normocytic iron deficiency is available if the red platelets have the ordinary size however lower in number while macrocytic pallor happens when the red platelets are bigger than typical. In light of etiology, different conditions are viewed as which result in either blood misfortune, unreasonable annihilation of red platelets and diminished or disabled creation of red platelets. On a similar note, the physiological characterization depends on hemoglobin level and happens in three phases. These remember the gentle stage for which the Hb level is 110-90g/l, moderate stage in which Hb level is 90-70g/l, and extreme stage in which Hb level is Laboratory standards (Makama, 2010). The three kinds of frailty are iron-inadequacy weakness brought about by blood misfortune, for example, in instances of overwhelming or delayed menstrual periods, inadequate iron gracefully or underutilization of iron in the body.â Aplastic paleness is brought about by powerlessness of the bone marrow to deliver enough erythrocytes, platelets and white platelets. Sickle-cell iron deficiency is brought about by an inherited deformity which influences Hb creation in which the red platelets expect an irregular bow shape. It is significant that the most widely recognized sort of sickliness in the United States is iron-lack weakness since most ladies are of youngster bearing age and experience extreme blood misfortune during menses. Essentially, the signs and side effects of this kind of iron deficiency are fair skin, exhaustion, migraine, dazedness, gastrointestinal unsettling influences, and dry mouth. Its treatment includes admission of iron rich eating regimen including iron enhancements (bodyandhealth.canada.com, 2009). Question 2 DIC is an abbreviation that represents scattered intravascular coagulation. It is a genuine issue where proteins which control blood coagulating become strangely dynamic bringing about arrangement of blood clusters inside veins. The obstructing of veins slices off blood flexibly to different organs, for example, the mind, liver and kidneys. DIC can be brought about by specific sorts of blood disease, blood contamination by growth or microorganisms and blood transfusion responses. Clinical signs incorporate extreme drain, hypertension, and blood clusters. DIC can be treated by utilizing plasma transfusions to supplant blood thickening elements. Ernst Young was the auditing firm of HealthSouth from 1984 to 2002. Due to financial hardship Healthshore grew desperate and developed a scheme to deceive not only shareholders but Ernst and Young. Inevitably whistleblowers came forth and a lawsuit ensued. The shareholderââ¬â¢s lawsuit against Ernst and Young never went to trial. However, the lawsuit against Healthshore ended in settlement. Though a travesty to the shareholders and employees not involved with the fraud, this fraudulent activity was necessary for it forced the SEC to hinder these types of events to occur in the future. There may still be cases similar to HealthShore going on today had it not been for the Sarbanes Oxley act enforcing stricter requirements for auditing firms.â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Scienter of statements would indicate either the auditor purposefully deceived information or made reckless decision when issuing an opinion which in both cases would qualify as an audit failure. If Ernst and Young made any untrue statements concerning material facts or omitted necessary facts on opinion this would classify as a violation of Rule 10b-5. 3a.) In 1998, an angry shareholder who described themselves as ââ¬Å"fleeced shareholderâ⬠had e-mailed auditors and financial regulators questioning how HealthSouth was cooking their books. It is the date and detail in the e-mail that proves the most frightening. The e-mail displays that the fraud should have been caught long before it was uncovered. Unlike most investors, it was evident that this person had a background in accounting and raised legitimate concerns. Ernst Young admitted to receiving this email in November of 1998. However, Ernst Young felt the questions raised by the anonymous writer did not affect the presentation of the financial statements. Moreover, a former bookkeeper of HealthSouth, Michael Vines, also e-mailed Ernst Young about specific area of fraud. His background qualified for his email to be considered worthy evidence. Sonography Career Free Essays
Sonography The first time I started college I had a different career path. It was not after my pregnancies that I decided to make the change to sonography. I think sonography is a career that really fits my expectations, and to make sure I am in the right path I will research this career in depth. We will write a custom essay sample on Sonography Career or any similar topic only for you Order Now Tests and evaluations in sonography are in writing and practical. They are prepared to measure the studentââ¬â¢s understanding of the material, and the knowledge in manipulating the transducer (Craig 53). At the beginning I was curious about how the test would be. I now know the reading tests are normal types of tests: objective, which is cover multiple choices or true and false, and the subjective, which are the essays questions. I also found, I will have some tests on computer (Craig 46-47) which I think is a great idea because I will get accustomed to the way that certifying test are now presented, also it will help me to be successful in my career. The practical exams will help me to familiarize in working with patients on a day to day work habit, and the writing and computer exams will prepare me for my certifying examination post graduation. Sonography has different types of sonograms in which I can specialize. There are eight types of diagnostic ultrasounds specialties, but there are three which are the common practiced: abdominal, obstetric and gynecologic, and cardiac (Craig 152). This is great for me, because obstetric and gynecologic is the type of ultrasound I would like to specialize. Also, since this type of ultrasound is one of the most common I think it will be easier find a job in this field. Registration is very important in the sonography field. Graduates are encouraged to take their registry examinations as soon as possible after completion of their training (Craig 53). â⬠In my opinion this is great because the knowledge of the sonographer is tested again giving us the opportunities to have prepared sonographers in the health facilities. Since ââ¬Å"employers prefer candidates registered through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Morsch)â⬠being registry is an open door for sonographers trying to get a job. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) offers the opportunity to sonographers to earn three different types of credentials. The credentials are Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, and Registered Vascular Technologist. In order to be award with one of them the graduate needs to pass two exams: one general and one specialty exam that depend on the credential wanted (ARDMS). This I think is a wonderful requisite because it elevates the prestige of sonographers. As more credentials I can get more knowledge I will have. Salary is another point in my research. ââ¬Å"In 2008, the starting salary for a diagnostic medical sonographer was $43,600 (Diagnostic Medical Sonography). Even though this is not the most important point for me I have to admit it is within the range I was expecting for salary. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the annual mean wage in Florida is $56,990 which breaks down in $27. 40 an hour (Bureau). This is better than the figures from 2008 and if salary follows this line by the time I graduate it should be even greater. The outlook of this job is great. ââ¬Å"Employment of diagnostic medical sonographers is expected to increase by about 18 percent through 2018-faster than average for all occupations (Bureau)â⬠. This is about 2. 25 percent per year. Sonograms will become the most popular tool in the medicine field to check the human body since is not harmful and very effectively. The truth is that ââ¬Å"sonography is in high demand trough out the country since the uses of sonography are expanded (Sonography). â⬠Another factor that will help on the growth of the sonography is the population who is aging. Older people needs more tests and Florida is one of the favorite states for retired people, so I would say that we will have a nice increase on the growth rate. Learn about searching jobs I think is important. After I graduate I would like to know the most important factors when looking for a job. As I found there are many tips for a successful job search. A resume accompanied of a personalized letter, always listen to the interviewer and answer the questions straight and precise, choose professional clothes for the interview day, negotiate the salary if it is no right for you, and always get the final offer in writing (Craig 213-216). Responsibilities are part of all jobs. Sonographers once they graduate start taking responsibilities which include preparing reports, organized daily work schedule, and report equipment failure(Craig 205). Searching this I notice that sonographers donââ¬â¢t only make reports and scans in fact I will do more than what I thought was my responsibilities. Sonography also has disadvantages. Musculoskeletal injury has been affecting sonographers for years. The amount of sonographers in the country is a small number compare to other professions in health, but the amount of injured sonographers is that big relative to the total number of sonographers that brought the attention of NIOSH. To protect sonographers from musculoskeletal pain NIOSH recommend a few safety measures for under graduates to avoid injuries (Musculoskeletal). This is really worry because I want a profession not an illness. I really think the programs should emphasize more on safety rules to avoid MSI from happen so frequently. I have learned plenty of information with my sonography research paper. Now I like even more my career. I believe I will have a great future if I keep going in this direction. Sonography is a very popular job, and learn the inside of the human body it is always amazing. Operation Management in Gas Pipeline Construction in Australia
Question: Discuss about the Operation Management in Gas Pipeline Construction in Australia. Answer: Research design Research question For diminishing the issues of operation management in the gas pipeline industry of Australia, it is necessary for the research designer to consider all the construction aspects accurately. The issues could be resolved if after the completion of the research study the designer become able to answer all the questions properly. The research questions should consider both the internal ad the external environment. The developed question or the research area is as follows: What are the different operation management strategies should develop in gas pipeline industry of Australia? What is the reason behind the application of pipe leakage detection program in the gas pipeline industry of Australia? Identify different API leak detection programs those are essential for the development of pipeline guidance programs? Related work Different types of experimental design approaches are there such as experimental, quasi, co-relational, ethnography etc. With the help of these research design approaches the researcher would be able to evaluate the project successfully. After analyzing the outline of the research topic that is Role of operational management in pipeline industries of Australia, it is important to select the most suitable research design approaches correlational and quasi research design. However, based on the positive and negative impact of these research design approaches, two of these approaches are selected by the researcher. Advantages and disadvantages of quasi research design Advantages disadvantages This particular approach is useful when it is unethical to influence the Independent Variable. The rate of human level error could be minimized with the application of this particular research design approach. It helps to study the real effect so that the realism and ecological validity can be increased accordingly. In certain occasions the irrelevant variables could create artificial situation. These approaches have less amount of internal validity. The participants Are required to wait until the independent variables are identified by the researchers. The control over the variables will also increase after the implementation of the experimental research work. In the secondary data collection process the participants who are taking part in the research approach, are influenced with the environment. The relationship between the cause and effect in a much easier way could be determined. Another disadvantage of this research design implies that, manipulation of the variables is not seen as completely objectives in nature. A much better level of experimental resultant can be generated with the help of this research design. This particular approach could be used only in the naturally variable conditions. Advantages and disadvantages of Correlational research design Advantages Disadvantages The correlation research design approach allows the researchers to gather information than the experiments. On the other hand it basically take place outside the laboratory thus, the generated results are referred to as much applicable in the daily usage. This approach is unable to provide conclusion statement or conclusive reasons rather it is only helps to uncover the relationship between the researchers and the participants in the secondary data collection research. For further research development it is also very much helpful. This research design is unable to expose those variables which are influencing in nature and unable to identify those variables which influence the others. It helps to provide a more valuable and reasonable situation to the researchers for investigation and research work. The causations could not be determined with the help of this particular approach. Design Different research design approaches are there and after considering the research topic it has been defined that, for this particular topic, quasi experiment and correlation research design are very much beneficial. In order to answer all of these Questions it is necessary to use the correlation and quasi research design approaches. In order to develop the design the positivism research philosophy should be developed by the researchers and on the other hand with the help of this particular design approach the level of understanding on this particular topic could be extended and the hidden facts about proper decision making approach will be completely done with the help of this approach. Though while collecting data from the resources it is necessary for the research developers to consider the primary data collection. That is development of survey and set of questionnaires. Te answers gained from the participants will help the researchers to design the set of policies and procedures of operational management for the gas pipelines Industries of Australia. For this particular construction plan the researcher should consider, the chemical nature and quality of the gas that is going to pass through the pipelines. It will help the project constructors to understand about the specific type of materials and materials th ose might be used for the development of the pipelines of Australia. On the other hand it also helps the researcher to develop proper decision making approaches regarding the development purposes. In order to develop the design for this accurate research topic that is operation management in Pipeline construction in Australia the identified strength and limitation of the research design are as follows: It has been defined that all the hidden facts are not accurately revealed those are needed for the development of operational management of gas pipelines construction in Australia. However, it took lower amount of cost and time as well for the development. After considering all of these approaches it has been defined that in order to develop answers for this particular research question quasi and correlation research design approach is required to be developed. Adventures Essays (467 words) - Rafting, , Term Papers
Adventures On The Rapids "This could be your last meal," my mother jokingly said before we left that day. The day was bright, and the sun gleaming. The group packed into the muggy van, it was stifling hot, and downright uncomfortable. On a hot summer Missouri day, in the middle of July, your shirt clung to your damp skin. The mission: White Water Rafting. The drive to the river, where we would begin our incredible journey, seemed to last endless miles. The humidity was almost unbearable; the van had absolutely no ventilation. Fifteen people packed like sardines, anticipating beginning the trip over the rapids. Envisioning the cool water splashing on our sunburned faces. Fleeing from the van was like jumping from a burning building. Bathing suits on, sunblock applied, strength in tact, we were set. Waiting for the moment when we were able to jump into the raft, and head down stream. Savoring our feet splashing in the chilly water. What we didn't know, was what the day was about to become, and how it could have changed our lives forever. Less than two hours from now, we would know. I was assigned to a raft with my brother, my friend, and the river guide. The adults went in another. About an hour after we left, we made our first stop; an enormous rock midstream. We sat there for several minutes hopped back into the raft and we were on our way, rushing down the river, nearing towards the end. As we approached the last of the rapids, our guide asked if we wanted to surf up them. Surfing is basically paddling up a rapid. We practiced for several minutes, because you have to get used to paddling against the current, then you can go up against a rapid. We were prepared, and ready for the last of the excitement in our adventure on the rapids. Fighting our way up the rapid, it all played out in slow motion. We paddled hard, and so powerfully. I remember it being like a space ship bursting into the sky, or a bomb exploding, when another raft came charging down the rapid, crashing into my side of the raft. I was thrown off the raft, into the bitterly frigid water. All playing back in my head now, even slower I found myself panicking. I realized that my foot had been lodged in between two rocks. As my life is flashing before my eyes, I saw fearful people above the water. I was unbelievably frightened. I heard screams, and yelling from above water. Then I thought to myself, What if I can't see images of my life seconds from now? What if I can't feel terrified? What if I can't see the people just above me? Abruptly, as if I was released from a funnel cloud. I was pushed into the stream. Now I was gliding downstream. My foot was released, my fear calmed, and the images weren't flashing anymore. I was safe.

Carrer management Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words
Carrer management - Essay Example With my psychometric result, I have further explored that ESFJs also have the quality to take good care of things that are in their custody (Butt 2009). They are excellent protectors and can gain remarkable achievements in education and medical field. Functional analysis of ESFJs shows that they have extraverted feelings and they are talented enough to adapt to new environments quickly, most specifically they have command over e-world gadgets and systems (Cazenovia 2012). In addition, they can easily express a variety of feelings in front of others and mostly they are motivated or de-motivated with others response towards their thoughts and actions. Further, it has been noticed that ESFJ are usually career oriented people and they do have passion to do something remarkable in the aspect of academic or professional ground. Additionally, they seek interesting as well as satisfying careers and to do this they work with deep concentration and intend to attempt all processes in a thoughtf ul manner. Competitive partner or environment works as a catalyst for them because they always possess passion to defeat all their enemies and competitors and in order to achieve this purpose they can do anything, which is possible and accessible. Personal swot analysis illustrates my strengths, followed by my weaknesses, then opportunities, which will assist me during my journey towards goals and the threats that might be a barrier in the path towards my objective. My biggest strength is that I am a business management undergraduate student at PSB institute and I am only a few steps away from my completing my degree. I know it is my greatest strength and it will help me in the near future to take initiative in the business world (Psni 2012). I am very passionate about my career and I am confident that my talent, skills, and willingness to achieve my

Eulers Totient Theorem
Eulers Totient Theorem Summary à à Euler Totient theorem is a generalized form of Fermats Little theory. As such, it solely depends on Fermats Little Theorem as indicated in Eulers study in 1763 and, later in 1883, the theorem was named after him by J. J. Sylvester. According to Sylvester, the theorem is basically about the alteration in similarity. The term Totient was derived from Quotient, hence, the function deals with division, but in a unique way. In this manner, The Eulers Totient function à â⬠for any integer (n) can be demarcated, as the figure of positive integers is not greater than and co-prime to n. aà â⬠(n) = 1 (mod n) Based on Leonhard Eulers contributions toward the development of this theorem, the theory was named after him despite the fact that it was a generalization of Fermats Little Theory in which n is identified to be prime. Based on this fact, some scholarly source refers to this theorem as the Fermats-Euler theorem of Eulers generalization. Introduction I first developed an interest in Euler when I was completing a listener crossword; the concealed message read Euler was the master of the crossword. When I first saw the inclusion of the name Euler on the list of prompt words, I had no option but to just go for it. Euler was a famous mathematician in the eighteenth century, who was acknowledged for his contribution in the mathematics discipline, as he was responsible for proving numerous problems and conjectures. Taking the number theory as an example, Euler successively played a vital role in proving the two-square theorem as well as the Fermats little theorem (Griffiths and Peter 81). His contribution also paved the way to proving the four-square theorem. Therefore, in this course project, I am going to focus on his theory, which is not known to many; it is a generalization of Fermats little theorem that is commonly known as Eulers theorem. Theorem Eulers Totient theorem holds that if a and n are coprime positive integers, then since ÃŽà ¦n is a Eulers Totient function. Eulers Totient Function Eulers Totient Function (ÃŽà ¦n) is the count of positive integers that are less that n and relatively prime to n. For instance, ÃŽà ¦10 is 4, since there are four integers, which are less than 10 and are relatively prime to 10: 1, 3, 7, 9. Consequently, ÃŽà ¦11 is 10, since there 11 prime numbers which are less than 10 and are relatively prime to 10. The same way, ÃŽà ¦6 is 2 as 1 and 5 are relatively prime to 6, but 2, 3, and 4 are not. The following table represents the totients of numbers up to twenty. N ÃŽà ¦n 2 1 3 2 4 2 5 4 6 2 7 6 8 4 9 6 10 4 11 10 12 4 13 12 14 6 15 8 16 8 17 16 18 6 19 18 20 8 Some of these examples seek to prove Eulers totient theorem. Let n = 10 and a = 3. In this case, 10 and 3 are co-prime i.e. relatively prime. Using the provided table, it is clear that ÃŽà ¦10 = 4. Then this relation can also be represented as follows: 34 = 81 à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ 1 (mode 10). Conversely, if n = 15 and a = 2, it is clear that 28 = 256 à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ 1 (mod 15). Fermats Little Theory According to Liskov (221), Eulers Totient theorem is a simplification of Fermats little theorem and works with every n that are relatively prime to a. Fermats little theorem only works for a and p that are relatively prime. a p-1 à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ 1 (mod p) or a p à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ a (mod p) where p itself is prime. It is, therefore, clear that this equation fits in the Eulers Totient theorem for every prime p, as indicated in ÃŽà ¦p, where p is a prime and is given by p-1. Therefore, to prove Eulers theorem, it is vital to first prove Fermats little theorem. Proof to Fermats Little Theorem As earlier indicated, the Fermats little theorem can be expressed as follows: ap à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ a (mod p) taking two numbers: a and p, that are relatively prime, where p is also prime. The set of a {a, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5aà ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦(p-1)a}à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦Ã ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦Ã ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦(i) Consider another set of number {1, 2, 3, 4, 5à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦.(p-1a)}à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦Ã ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦(ii) If one decides to take the modulus for p, each element of the set (i) will be congruent to an item in the second set (ii). Therefore, there will be one on one correspondence between the two sets. This can be proven as lemma 1. Consequently, if one decides to take the product of the first set, that is {a x 2a x 3a x 4a x 5a x à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦. (p-1)a } as well as the product of the second set as {1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦ (p-1)}. It is clear that both of these sets are congruent to one another; that is, each element in the first set matches another element in the second set (Liskov 221). Therefore, the two sets can be represented as follows: {a x 2a x 3a x 4a x 5a x à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦. (p-1)a } à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ {1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦ (p-1)} (mode p). If one takes out the factor a p-1 from the left-hand side (L.H.S), the resultant equation will be Ap-1 {a x 2a x 3a x 4a x 5a x à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦. (p-1)a } à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ {1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦ (p-1)} (mode p). If the same equation is divided by {1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦ (p-1)} when p is prime, one will obtain a p à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ a (mod p) or a p-1 à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ 1 (mod p) It should be clear that each element in the first set should correspond to another element in the second set (elements of the set are congruent). Even though this is not obvious at the first step, it can still be proved through three logical steps as follows: Each element in the first set should be congruent to one element in the second set; this implies that none of the elements will be congruent to 0, as pand a are relatively prime. No two numbers in the first set can be labeled as ba or ca. If this is done, some elements in the first set can be the same as those in the second set. This would imply that two numbers are congruent to each other i.e. ba à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ ca (mod p), which would mean that b à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ c (mod p) which is not true mathematically, since both the element are divergent and less than p. An element in the first set can not be congruent to two numbers in the second set, since a number can only be congruent to numbers that differ by multiple of p. Through these three rules, one can prove Fermats Little Theorem. Proof of Eulers Totient Theorem Since the Fermats little theorem is a special form of Eulers Totient theorem, it follows that the two proofs provided earlier in this exploration are similar, but slight adjustments need to be made to Fermats little theorem to justify Eulers Totient theorem (KrÃÅ'Ã
âiÃÅ'Ã zÃÅ'Ã
âek 97). This can be done by using the equation a ÃŽà ¦n à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ 1 (mod n) where the two numbers, a and n, are relatively prime, with the set of figures N, which are relatively prime to n {1, n1. n2à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦.n ÃŽà ¦n }. This set is likely to have ÃŽà ¦n element, which is defined by the number of the relatively prime number to n. In the same way, in the second set aN, each and every element is a product of a as well as an element of N {a, an1, an2, an3à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦anÃŽà ¦n}. Each element of the set aN must be congruent to another element in the set N (mode n) as noted by the earlier three rules. Therefore, each element of the two sets will be congruent to each other (Giblin 111). In this scenario case, it can be said that: {a x an1 x an2 x an3 x à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦. an ÃŽà ¦n } à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ {a xÃâà n1 x n2 x n3 x à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦.n ÃŽà ¦n } (mod n). By factoring out a and aÃŽà ¦n from the left-hand side, one can obtain the following equation a ÃŽà ¦n {1 x n1 x n2 x n3 x à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦.n ÃŽà ¦n} à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ {1 x n1 x n2 x n3 x à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦.n ÃŽà ¦n } (mod n) If this obtained equation is divided by {1 x n1 x n2 x n3 x à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦.n ÃŽà ¦n } from both sides, all the elements in the two sets will be relatively prime. The obtained equation will be as follows: a ÃŽà ¦n à ¢Ã¢â¬ °Ã ¡ 1 (mod n) Application of the Eulers Theorem Unlike other Eulers works in the number theory like the proof for the two-square theorem and the four-square theorem, the Eulers totient theorem has real applications across the globe. The Eulers totient theorem and Fermats little theorem are commonly used in decryption and encryption of data, especially in the RSA encryption systems, which protection resolves around big prime numbers (Wardlaw 97). Conclusion In summary, this theorem may not be Eulers most well-designed piece of mathematics; my favorite theorem is the two-square theorem by infinite descent. Despite this, the theorem seems to be a crucial and important piece of work, especially for that time. The number theory is still regarded as the most useful theory in mathematics nowadays. Through this proof, I have had the opportunity to connect some of the work I have earlier done in discrete mathematics as well as sets relation and group options. Indeed, these two options seem to be among the purest sections of mathematics that I have ever studied in mathematics. However, this exploration has enabled me to explore the relationship between Eulers totient theorem and Fermats little theorem. I have also applied knowledge from one discipline to the other which has broadened my view of mathematics. Works Cited Giblin, P J. Beattie noted in his history paper Essay
Shakespeare died over 400 years ago. So, Hiram inserted a quote by Shakespeare from the play Hamlet into an essay without using quotation marks or citing the reference. I disagree that the essay was not cited and no questionsà marks were used when the quote was inserted. If you do not cite a quote that was copied from a text, even if the author has died, this was being considered plagiarism. If you would have paraphrased the quote that would be difference because you are taking pieces of the quote and putting the rest in your own words. Beattie noted in his history paper the fact that representatives from the 13 British colonies signed the United States Declaration of Independence in 1776, but he did not cite a source for the information. I disagree that Beattie did not cite the source. Consider that he noted a fact that the British colonies signed the Declaration in the year 1776. He mentions the year of when the Declaration was signed, so this should be cited. When taking notes about the American Revolution. Sara found a quote of Benjamin Franklinââ¬â¢s words, which she paraphrased. She inserted it into her paper without quotation marks or a reference to Benjamin Franklin. I disagree that Sara did not cite her paper. When paraphrasing if you state the author and the year, a source should be cited. Jeffery wrote a paper on popular music in which he claimed that many songs came from earlier sources. He included the entire song lyrics from the Beatles and compared them to the lyrics of a song by a folk singer from the 1930s. He cited the Beatles. Although he included the lyrics from the 1930 song, he did not include a reference to the source. I agree that Jeffrey cited the singer of the song lyrics. I disagree that he did not reference the source. Whenever you site a source from a textbook you should include a reference page. The reference gives you all the information on where you have found your information.

Jeanne Wilson Essay
Jeanne Wilson was employed as a nurse at the Mary McClellan hospital in the late 1970s. While employed there she heard tale of ââ¬Å"The Pink Ladyâ⬠who roamed the halls of the maternity ward and seemed drawn to a certain room, with a particular patient. ââ¬Å"Well, when I was working at the Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge (thatââ¬â¢s just across the river from here) I had the night watch of the maternity ward. The other nurses used to tell me to watch myself up there because of this pink lady. I most certainly believe in ghosts although I have never seen any myself you understand. I was never really afraid, I just figured sheââ¬â¢d be peaceful and never bother any of us doing the good work up on the floor. Sometimes at night you would hear the swoosh, swoosh of someoneââ¬â¢s bathrobe rubbing on their legs or the scuffle sound of slippers on the floor. There would never be anyone there, but youââ¬â¢d hear it just the same. This one time we had a lady come in who was dying. She was an older woman and the nurses really loved her. Well, she asked to die on the maternity ward so all of the nurses felt this was ok. We brought her up and got her settled. It was a very small hospital you know. Anyway, I was checking in patients late at night and as I was walking past her room, I noticed the door was shut. I looking in through the little window on those doors and there was the pink lady! She had pink curlers in her hair, a pink robe on, and pink slip-on kind of slippers on her feet! Well, I almost died myself right there. I couldnââ¬â¢t believe my eyes. When I caught my breath, I peeked back in the door to see her just standing over the old woman just watching her sleep. I creaked open the door and sure enough she disappeared. They said the pink lady only walked the maternity ward because she had lost all of her children in those rooms. When she died of cancer later on, she had asked to be in the maternity ward to die like her children! Well, I never expected her to visit this woman. Of course, when I think of it now, it makes perfect sense! They donââ¬â¢t deliver babies in the hospital anymore ââ¬â actually its not even a hospital now. But, thatââ¬â¢s the pink lady and Iââ¬â¢m telling you ââ¬â sheââ¬â¢s real. â⬠Ms. Wilson states this story as a full-fledged memory from her past. While employed at the hospital she points out others telling her this singular truth, and denied knowledge of any other tales of this nature in the ward. The story comes from a region other than place interviewed, not allowing for cross-reference with other individuals. Hospital stories of this nature are found throughout history, with a higher concentration surrounding Civil War hospitals. The time-frame for the inception of the tale can best be ascertained as the 1950s era due to the physical description of the pink lady. One can assume the story originated at that time. The telling was very excited with strong body language used throughout. Exaggerated facial expressions and multiple hand manipulations of air demonstrated actual behavior during the encounter. The skills of her trade do not enter the story, nor are they necessary other than putting Ms. Wilson in the hospital after hours. Ms. Wilson was interviewed with her elderly mother present. This parent did not obviously believe the tale, nor did she appreciate the telling of it. This did not hinder the younger Wilson woman; in fact, she seemed eager for acceptance of the tale. The recording of her story may well have promoted a more fascinating telling of the story with added bits of detail. The education level of Ms. Wilson was undetermined. Apparently, she is not a qualified nurse, having never gone to school to keep up with the educational demands of the field. She currently works in a rest home. The idea of her having been a nurse at the time appeared to have given the tale more validity in her mind as she felt it was a scientific study of sorts. She was reminded of the nature of the recording. References Wilson, J. (personal communication, October 14, 2006)

Using this drug there are also side effects such as dry mouth, drowsiness, muscle stiffness, and tardive dyskinesia. If a person has used antipsychotic medication for long periods of time, eventually they might increase their risk of developing a movement disorder called tardive dyskinesia, briefly talked above which cannot be cured and can result in the malfunction of moving their face and jaws. Note that this medication reduces the symptoms of schizophrenia, not take away the cause for it. Along with the brain, antipsychotic drugs reduce the syndrome of psychosis as well as reducing the symptoms of bipolar disorder or a manic depression which are alternating periods of mood swings that lead to depression. The way this medication works is it can either decrease or alter the effect of neurotransmitters in the brain. Neuro transmitters helps transfer messages throughout the brain and along with that, dopamine and serotonin

Dental Treatment Planning For Patients Using Cannabis
Dental Treatment Planning Considerations in Patients Using Cannabis Sarah E. Grafton1, Alexandre R Vieira2 1. Department of Comprehensive Care, University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine 2. Department of Oral Biology, University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine ABSTRACT Background and Overview. There is a deficit in clinical research on the potential risks involved in treating dental patients using cannabis, either for medicinal or recreational purposes. The aim of this case report is to illustrate the wide variety of available cannabis options and their potential impacts on dental treatment. Case Description. A 27-year-old African American male presented to the dental clinic with nonrestorable molar requiring extraction. During the review of his medical history, the patient reported taking a ââ¬Å"dabâ⬠of marijuana approximately five hours prior to his appointment. Due to the admission of recent illicit drug use, no treatment was rendered. The patient was offered an appointment the next day but refused citing the bias in regard to cannabis use. Conclusions and Practical Implications. The number of Americans using marijuana is rising rapidly. Pending legalization in most states will require dentists to address the possible effects of this increase on dental practices. It is imperative dental providers make clinical decisions based upon scientific evidence regarding the pharmacological and psychological effects of cannabis, not on the societal stigma

Disproportionate Minority Contact ( Dmc ) Is A Phenomenon...
Disproportionate Minority Contact (DMC) is a phenomenon that occurs within the criminal justice system. DMC is exhibited through the high percentages of minority contact statistically when compared to predictions that are based on the minority populations within certain communities. DMC is even prevalent in the juvenile justice system that has been created here in America. Disproportionate minority contact is a national, state and local issue that has been discussed for years. The government has made many futile attempts to combat DMC through the creation of amendments, policies and programs. However, the numbers of minority youth in the criminal justice and juvenile justice system remain to be quite staggering. In America minorities have been over represented as offenders in the criminal justice system for years. DMC that is prevalent in the criminal justice and juvenile justice system is one that was discovered and has been discussed for decades. In 1988, over 20 years ago, the NCSJJAG reported that, ââ¬Å"â⬠¦disparate juvenile and criminal justice rates for minorities are not a new phenomenon.â⬠(NCSJJAG, 1998), and unfortunately this phenomena still exists. Multicomponent Positive Psychology Intervention
Question: Discuss about the Multicomponent Positive Psychology Intervention. Answer: Introduction The topic underlying this deliberation relates to the deficiencies manifested in practice that has failed the powerful vast positivist research program. The main aim of this analysis is to review critically the article Half a Defense of Positive Accounting Research inscribed by Paul V Dunmore to showcase the impact of insufficiencies in practice in achieving the potential of the powerful wide-ranging positive accounting theory research program. The principal argument in this critique is that with adequate practice in positive accounting theory research program, the potential influential broad positivist research program will be unattainable (Christie 2007). It is contended that the present practice in positive in accounting appears infinitely unqualified of appreciating the scientific objectives. It is additionally argued that notwithstanding the inconsistencies in accounting practice, normal science as described by Kuhn avails an absolution and a background affixed on Kuhnian crisis along with insurgency as it is potential to unshackle positive accounting to accomplish its full probable. The critique takes the following structure to expansively capture the foremost argument declared overhead (Dillard and Vinnari 2017). The 1st subsection stretches the transitory summary of the article by focusing primarily on the foremost argument of this paper. This section will encompass of the articles aim, overal findings and theoretical argument along with contribution. The 2nd subsection digs bottomless into research question. This subcategory will principally ascertain the research question or hypothesis offered in the article. It will further discuss hypothesis or the research questions value as acknowledged and explain whether besides how such a hypothesis or research question run from the review of literature (Dunmore 2011). The 3rd sub-section specifies the articles theoretical framework whereby the acknowledgment and deliberation of such a framework is characterized or the theoretical substance of the article which informed the researchs aspect. The 4th subsection lengthily deliberates the articles limitation and significance. This section uses literature to discuss the inadequacies of the theory as well as the methodological approach adopted. It upholds whether the scholar has appreciated such faintness and whether the researcher has drawn deductions from the studies that are admissible by the methodological approach employed. This subsection also demonstrate whether the recognized deficits have affected both articles substance along with contribution in regards to the accounting discipline hinged on the authors findings established against the method of study. The final sub-section provides a brief supposition as well as recaps the crucial points and deducting implication for critique. The underlying article under this critique is the Paul V Dunmores Half a Defense of Positive Accounting Research. It essentially circumvents about the positive accounting theory research program as devised by Zimmerman and Watts. The claim was staked by the duo to the Positive Accounting Theory (PAT) for their given theory. The scholar pursued the scrutiny of the positive methodology to the accounting research. Paul observed positive accounting research as constituent of the wider intellectual project of scientific research that is poised to understand as well as comprehend the cause-effect correlation in the essential world of research. Paul has considered positive accounting in the broader viewpoint of study program which aims at developing causal clarification of the human behavior within accounting context (Roth, Suldo and Ferron 2017). Paul has further performed an analysis of epistemology alongside ontology of positivist accounting program. Numerous tests encompassing logic of statistical hypothesis whereas superficially equivalent to fabrication standard of Popper have further been recognized as inferior. Paul has further recognized that notwithstanding the comprehensive positivist research program being potentially powerful, the shortages in practice obstructs the apprehension of its jam-packed potential. The universal encounters impeding the program have as well been documented in the article plus theoretical models casual construction that needs testing as well as undue dependency on hypothesis testing the logic. Lack of interest in parameters numerical values and insufficient imitation to merit confidence in finding acceptance have as well been recognized as shared impediments. The use of theories as lenses for analyzing qualitative data rather than as clarifications for tests is an additional shared contest the program faces. Paul has also taken into account illustrations from pertinent and respectable articles for arguments justification. Paul also reviewed the wider knowledgeable project together with the ontological and epistemological axioms to understand the both the significance as well as inconsistencies of positive accounting study. The review exposed serious absences in the way that positive accounting study is accomplished that obstructs it from enacting meaningful contribution to the wide-ranging project (Kim et al. 2017). Paul held that as presently being practiced in accounting, positive research stays massively inept to attaining the scientific objectives. Nonetheless, Paul remains positive that Kuhns illumination of the normal science professionally fits the positive accounting research. The predictions of Kuhns narration are clarified in transitory on the basis of Kuhnian crisis and revolution. It is believed that such a crunch and insurgency is latent to unshackle the positive accounting thus attaining its full potential. Research Questions/Hypotheses Paul has employed numerous hypotheses together with research questions that and explained that he is never declaring their truth, but rather just exploratory for an enthusiastic postponement of incredulity to permit their corresponding discussion. Four hypotheses have been provided by Paul and developed impartially uncertainly, mindful that for numerous of human being, they could have remained imagined disgraceful and immoral and that apparently an inordinate percentage of humanity could endure to discern the same. The list of working hypotheses imagined in a watercourse of intelligent investigation by Paul is given below: A world that is self-sufficient of imagination of people exist that was never constituted by individuals and its events are not subject to the aspirations of people control It is practicable for normal folks to obtain fairly dependable information concerning the events of the world via cautious observation. This, however, does not imply that persons will never be mistaken when observing, but rather such annotations are not ever exclusively unrelated to such a world The intellectual enquiry devotes to use observations to achieve an understanding of this world, and exactly of causation. This implies that folks seek out mental models that precisely map the process of causal that happen in such a world The events of this world have causes that are independently component of the world which imply that neither fully random nor the results of the interventions from outside world How does positive accounting research applied currently in accounting practice? To what extent does the deficits in the positive accounting research implementation resulted in the ineffectiveness of PAT research program than predicted? Theoretical Framework The theoretical framework assumed by Paul evolves from a positivist viewpoint of a dissatisfied theoretical physicist whose accounting research vestiges positivist emphasizing either model testing or building (Watts and Zimmerman 2010). The disapprovals of the author, consequently, attached the standpoint of a person thinking that the research project is noteworthy, but disheartened by the incompetent and unproductive versions that are currently experienced in accounting. Paul utilizes this perception to impulse both editors along with referees to approve such actions to prod the present systems in the direction of the liberating positive accounting research to accomplish its jam-packed potential (Faff et al. 2017). Paul articles theoretical substance, therefore, builds on the acknowledgment from the literature review on auditing that serious shortages exist in the contemporary practice in accounting research thereby hampering PAT research program from making a substance influence to the wider project. This is meant to establishing positive accounting research as a well-established social system to donate to the project of scientific research (Fleischman et al. 2017). It is anchored on the realization that adopting findings of Kuhn (1970) study would be despondent to influence elites to cuddle a more than ever operative paradigm. The scholar additionally recognizes an amnesty offered by the data that emerged from Fogarty and Markarian (2007) which hinted at elites comparative stance being diminishing. Consequently, the Paul anticipated forthcoming future crisis and the opportunity for the assumption of a more than ever beneficial paradigm. Paul successively based his argument on providing proposals for actions by editors as well as referees to prod the present systems in the direction of liberating PAT research to hit its full potential. Paul is informed by the recognition that it is important to appreciate the worlds Modus Operandi and afterwards regarded it as an undesirability that the related research watercourse is unproductive and unsuccessful, and, hence he has provided definite proposals for upgrading. Limitation and Significance The auditing literatures systematic review via the qualitative method assumed in this study is attributable to certain restrictions/shortcomings. One of these restrictions is that a possibility of carrying forward certain mistakes and errors made by aforementioned scholars into the present study is high. Further, the method confines the production of new findings because there is no room to collect the primary data when secondary data is used which does not capture the vicissitudes effectively (Dunmore 2011). Another limitation in the theory assumed in this study is the lack of theoretical models that are tremendously specified and, therefore, it is vulnerable to permit thorough testing. Paul has documented these boundaries by signifying the need for healthier theoretical models. This suggestion arises from the backdrop of the emerging sumptuous models from analytical research that are never framed to be testable due to their unsatisfactory development alongside concentration on tractability hinged on concepts that are never meritoriously well-defined theoretically to allow operationalization (Watts and Zimmerman 2012). Paul has further recognized the absenteeism of better measurements to allow demanding testing of theoretical models because of failed concepts operationalization. Another limitation admitted is the nonexistence of homogenous reliable linear relationship-oriented manner to be espoused in measuring each study. The recurrent parameters re-invention of measurement as well as re-estimation with individual sample per study has also been recognized as the drawback to positive research from achieving its bursting potential (Franco and Roach 2017). Paul has successfully drawn theoretical inferences from the research which are justifiable methodologically. This is because the precincts have been acknowledged from the systematic review of the previous auditing literature that have in turn molded the basis for proposing enhancements to allow positive research to meet its chockfull potential. For instance, the recommended need for ever-changing focus away from the testing hypotheses towards estimating parameters afterwards being informed by the attentiveness of testing hypothesis from the previous reviewed studies (Pandey et al. 2017). The precincts have considerably unfavorably influenced the significance of the study whereas they have concomitantly absolutely exaggerated the articles contribution to the discipline (Williams 2009). This is due to the ineptitude in methodology as well as theories in the article never gave room for presenting reliable aftermaths, but the discipline is improved going forward via proposing recommendation that need to inform succeeding studies to empower positive research to meet its packed potential (Bertomeu, Darrough and Xue 2017). Conclusion Paul has unearthed that models which are tremendously specified and, hence, exceptionally defenseless, besides being undertaken extremely as thorough testing subjects are required. Paul has further accredited that unacceptable progress is ongoing in positive accounting research as a straight repercussion of using ad hoc quantitative models which are weakened to mere statements of the expected sign of a linking between two variables (Volovski et al. 2017). There is a need for effective measurement to enhance the testing of theoretical models rigorously by carefully operationalizing the concepts (Baiman 2010). Paul calls for augmented courtesy towards choosing accurate practical form. The critiques implications, therefore, is that positive researchs limitations have been recognized and counteractive schemes for upgrading suggested. Adopting these improvements will make positive research achieve its jam-packed potential. References Baiman, S., 2010. Agency research in managerial accounting: A second look. The setting of a story makes up most of the plot. Essay Example For Students
The setting of a story makes up most of the plot. Essay The environment influences the characters and how they act. The setting of The Lord of the Flies takes place on an island in the middle of nowhere. This story is about a group of kids that get trapped on an island after a plane crash. There are no adults with them because they all died from the crash. William Golding made this the setting to make the plot of the story more interesting. A reason that Golding uses an island as the setting because he wants a group of kids all by themselves with no adult supervision. He wanted to show what kids would do without adults around. The lifestyles of the kids will be changed because of the environment that they have to live in. An example of this is when Ralph decided to run around naked. He doesnt want adults controlling their actions because it would ruin the point he is trying to make. We will write a custom essay on The setting of a story makes up most of the plot. specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now Golding also made the setting on an island because he wants the children to create their own culture and society. It will show their own type of government on the island and will give responsibilities to each of the characters. The type of government will shape their behaviors and the respect from the others. Their rules of civilization change the way people feel about each other. For example, Jack does not like Ralph because Ralph is the leader of the group and makes the decisions, but Jack doesnt like the way Ralph leads them. Another reason Golding put the setting on an island is that the environment is different from the conditions that theyre used to. The environment and vegetation of the island is a big influence on their daily life. Their life basically revolves around the things that live and grow on the island. They need to be responsible and caring enough not to abuse their resources. They also need to make smart decisions, so that it doesnt get destroyed. For example, the littluns would just use the bathroom anywhere they want and make the island dirty and smelly. Another example is when the characters would just make bon fires wherever they want, without even caring what forest fire they can create. The setting on the island greatly affects the point that Golding is trying to make. It also makes the story more interesting and puts excitement into the plot. The characters way of life is changed because the environment and the absence of adult supervision.
